Here’s a really easy free activity: take a hotel tour. You can also take your own private tour of any Disney World resort: walk around the grounds and gardens, look at the architecture, and mingle with any cast members you come across. If touring isn’t your cup of tea, then try a visit to Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk. And when night starts to fall, go for a walk on the Boardwalk and take in the street entertainment.

For a very relaxing frugal Disney World experience, go on a boat ride at night. You’ll be taken from Dixie Landings to Downtown Disney, where you can get off and explore the sights and the sounds. Take the boat back to Dixie Landings when you’re done.

If you don’t mind a noisy (but beautiful) frugal Disney World attraction, go to the Grand Floridian or Polynesian Resort beach and watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. You’re allowed to park at the resorts for a short while free of charge: just tell the guard you’re going to get coffee from the hotel coffee shop.
